I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! How much do they run?
When I grabbed my pair in April, I paid around $385, but their regular price is over $500.

Do they fit as expected?
Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
Are they comfortable?
They felt good almost immediately. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since my feet get sweaty. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in fake leather. Also, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also go with everything.
